The Henley style launching this Friday features a fabric design that is completely different from previous iterations. It ingeniously incorporates the quilted material of early American sweatshirts into the Henley neckline. Unlike the lighter fabric used in the past, which was better suited for layering, this version uses thicker material, prompting adjustments to the pattern and production techniques, with a focus on vintage craftsmanship and labor-intensive processes.
Firstly, due to the substantial thickness of the fabric, each seam is reinforced using flatlock stitching, ensuring a smooth finish that enhances comfort by fitting closer to the body.
Secondly, the original 3/4 sleeve design, intended for layering, has been modified to a full-length sleeve, making it equally suitable for wearing on its own.
Lastly, this special edition will continue the tradition of limited single-run releases. Once sold out, it will not be reissued. Fans of this style should seize the opportunity!
